Software education

learn the software
before you buy it.

Software Beasts explains what business and AI tools actually do, who they're built for, and what they really cost — one tool per video, under a minute, narrated over a giraffe who has better things to do.

How we teach

one tool. one minute. no fluff.

Most software content is either a sales pitch or a forty-minute tutorial. We do the bit in the middle: enough to understand a tool and decide whether it belongs in your stack.

01 / What it does

the plain-english version.

Every lesson opens with what the software is for, stripped of the marketing language. If a tool "leverages AI to unlock synergies," we tell you what that means in a sentence you'd say out loud.

02 / Who it's for

and who should skip it.

A tool that's perfect for a solo creator is often wrong for a ten-person agency. We say which one you are before we tell you whether to care.

03 / What it costs

the real number.

Free tiers, hidden seat pricing, the upgrade you'll actually need — we cover the price you'll pay, not the one on the landing page. Then you decide. Comment the keyword if you want the link.

The curriculum

software we've covered.

Every tool that's had a lesson, with the short version of what we found. Each one is software we've paid for and used in our own work — the links are affiliate links, which is disclosed below and changes nothing about the price.

About the beast

taught by people who use it daily.

Software Beasts is an education project from GY Advertising, an agency that builds paid ad campaigns, funnels and AI automation for clients. Every tool in the curriculum is one we've paid for and run in real client work — which is how we know where the rough edges are.

The giraffe exists because nobody remembers a talking head. He never speaks and he never sells. The voiceover does the teaching. He does the lounging.
